In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Jharkhand Value Added Tax Act 2005 (Jharkhand Act 05, 2006), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to amend the following in Schedule-II Part B of the said Act — Amendment 1. Sl. No. 1 of the said Schedule is being deleted. 2. The condition i.e. "Taxable w.e.f. 01.04.2006" shall be substituted with the words "Taxable w.e.f. 01.04.2007" for the serial no. 28, 54, 102 and 109 of the said Schedule. 3. Sl. No. 79 of the said Schedule i.e. Kerosene lamp / lantern and their chimney / glass is being deleted. 4. This Notification shall be effective from 1st April, 2006.
