In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 55 read with clause (zo) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Haryana Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act 6 of 2003), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, and in partial modification of Haryana Government, Excise and Taxation Department, notification No. S.O.48/H.A.6/2003/S.55/2003, dated the 31^st March, 2003, the Governor of Haryana hereby appoints the officers mentioned in column 1 of the table of the said notification, to assist the Commissioner and to carry out the purposes of the said Act (except assessing authority and revising authority), within the meaning of above said clause in the areas mentioned in column 2 of the said table with effect from the 1^st day of April, 2003.
