No. S.O.49/H.A. 6/2003/S.34/2003 dt. 31 st March, 2003- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 34, read with clause (zd) of sub-section (I) of section 2 of the Haryana Value Added Tax Act, 2003, (Act 6 of 2003), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana hereby confers on the officers mentioned in column 1 of the table below, the powers of Commissioner under sub-section (I) of section 34 to be exercised by them in respect of cases mentioned in column 2 and in the area of jurisdiction mentioned in column 3, against each: –

Note – For the purpose of area of jurisdiction a case of a registered dealer shall relate to the district in which the dealer is registered under this Act; any other case shall relate to the district within the boundaries of which the offence to which the case relate was committed.
