In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16 of the Tripura Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Tripura Act No. 1 of 2005), it is hereby notified for general information of all concerned that the State Government hereby include the following items in Schedule II(a) attached to the Act w.e.f. 1st June, 2005 :

1. Sugar, other than those manufactured in India.

2. Textile fabrics of all varieties, other than those manufactured or made in India including wire cloths and felt, endless or fitted with linking devices of a kind used in paper making machine or any other machine.
