In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben.XLIX of 1994), the Governor is pleased hereby to make the following amendment in this department notification No.1109-F.T., dated the 20^th April, 1995 as sub-sequently amended (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) :-

In the said notification, in the Table, in Part A, in the entry in column (2) against serial No.275 in column (1), for the word and figures "Schedule VIII", substitute the words, figures and letter "Schedule VIII or Schedule VIIIA".

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1^st day of September, 2004.
