In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) sub-section (2) of rule 1 of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2022, hereinafter referred to as "the said Rules", notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 18, dated the 20th July 2022, published in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary Part-I, dated the 22nd July, 2022, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the 1st day of October, 2022, as the date on which the provisions of rule 7 of the said Rules shall come into force.
