WHEREAS the Governor is satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 18 of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben. Act XLIX of 1994), as subsequently amended, the Governor is pleased hereby, to make the following amendment to this department notification No. 1067-F.T. dated the 6th August, 2013, published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, Part - I, dated the 6th August, 2013, (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) as subsequently amended by notification number 798 -FT dated 3rd June, 2016,:-

Amendment.

In the said notification, in the Table, in column (3) against serial number 2 in column (1), in clause (a), for the words, letters and figures "during the period from the 3rd day of June, 2016 to the 31st day of March, 2018", substitute the words, letters and figures "during the period from the 1st day of April, 2018 and until further notification in this regard".

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of April, 2018.
