FOREIGN TRADE NOTIFICATION

NOTIFICATION No. S.O.4540 (E), F. No. 14/3/2018-EP(Agri-lII), Dated 18th December, 2019

In exercise of powers conferred by section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992), read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby notifies the Import Policy of items of Chapter 7 of the Indian Trade Classification (Harmonized System), 2017, Schedule-1 (Import Policy), as under-

0713 31 10 Urad (Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper) Restricted Import of Urad shall be subject to an annual (fiscal year) quota of 04 lakh MT. Import of Urad under the Quota Restriction will be allowed only to the Millers / Refiners as per procedure to be notified by Directorate General of Foreign Trade :

Provided that this restriction shall not apply to Government's import commitments under any Bilateral or Regional Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding.

2. This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.

CORRIGENDUM F. No. 14/3/2018-EP(Agri-III), Dated 24th December, 2019

Subject: Corrigendum to Notification S.O.4540 (E) dated the 18th December, 2019.

In exercise of powers conferred by section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992), read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby notifies corrigendum to the Notification S.O. 4540 (E) dated the 18th December, 2019 as under:-

    (i) In Column No. 1 (Exim Code), the Exim Code 0713 31 90 is rectified to be read as "0713 31 10".

    (ii) In Column No. 2 (Item Description), the description "Urad (Beans of the SPP Vigna Radiata (L.) Wilczek)" is-rectified to be read as "Urad (Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper)".

2. This notification shall come info force from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
