Subject: Amendment in import policy of Coal and incorporation of Policy Condition No. 7 in Chapter 27 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule - I (Import Policy).

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 & 9 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends Para 3 of Notification No.49/2015-2020 dated 22.12.2020 published in the Gazette of India (Extra-ordinary) vide S.0.4654 (E) dated 22nd December 2020 as under

3. The CIMS will be effective from 01.04.2021, i.e., Bill of Entry filed on or after 01.04.2021 for items as listed in this Notification shall be governed by CIMS. The facility of online registration will be available with effect from 15.02.2021.

2. Effect of the Notification: CIMS will be effective from 01.4.2021 and online registration will be available from 15.02.2021

This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce & Industry.
