Whereas, the due date of filing of annual return in Form VAT-201A under the Value Added Tax Act for the Financial Year, 2020-21 was 30.09.2021;

And, whereas, due to the systemic glitches, the VATIS ( Value Added Tax Information System) portal was down from 27.09.2021 to 30.09.2021 for which the modified annual return form could not be made available in the VATIS ( Value Added Tax Information System) before 30.09.2021;

And, whereas, the updated version of the annual return form was made available in the VATIS (Value Added Tax Information System) portal on 01.10.2021;

And, whereas, certain dealers of the State could not file their annual returns in time;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-rule (6A) of rule 34 of the Odisha Value Added Tax Rules, 2005, the State Government, having been satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the exigencies of public service, do hereby extend the last date of filing of annual return in Form VAT-201A for the financial year 2020-21 up to the 30th November, 2021.
