NOTIFICATION No. FTX.56/2017/Pt-III/420-STATE TAX, Dated 17th March, 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by the sixth proviso to clause (q) of rule 46 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2019, made vide notification of the Government of Assam in the Finance (Taxation) Department No. FTX.56/2017/472 dated 5th September, 2019, published in the Assam Gazette, Extraordinary, vide No. 389 dated the 10th September, 2019, the Governor of Assam, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby pleased to appoint the 1st day of April, 2020, as the date from which the provisions of the said rule, shall come into force.
