In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Puducherry Value Added Tax Act, 2007 (Act No. 9 of 2007) and all other powers enabling in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, is pleased to rescind the notification issued vide G. O. Ms. No. 25/CT/2017-18, dated 31st July, 2017 of the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, Government of Puducherry and published in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary Part-II, No. 48, dated 1st August, 2017, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 10th day of April, 2020.
