WHEREAS, the State Government is satisfied that it is expedient so to do in public interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, In exercise of the powers conferred by provisions mentioned in sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2019 (Act No. 13 of 2019), the Governor, is pleased to allow to appoint the 1st day of January, 2020, as the date from which the provisions mentioned in section 14 of the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2019 (Act No. 13 of 2019) shall come into force.
