In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 (Ordinance No.1 of 2019), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the 1st day of January, 2020, as the date on which the provisions of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 (Ordinance No.1 of 2019), except section 2, section 7, section 10, section 13 and section 14 to section 20, shall come into force.

Section 13 of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 (Ordinance No.1 of 2019) shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of September, 2019.
