THE CUSTOMS TARIFF ACT 1975 (Notification)

NOTIFICATION No.28/2016-CUSTOMS (NT), F.No.552/19/2010-LC, S.O. 521 (E), Dated 18th  February, 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of sub - section (1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 63/94-CUSTOMS (NT), dated the 21st November, 1994, published vide number S.O. 830 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely .-

In the said notification, in the TABLE, against serial number 6 relating to land frontier of Nepal, in columns 3 and 4, after the existing entries, the following entries shall be inserted, namely .-

(1) (2) (3) (4)
     "(26) Sikta in West Champaran  District, 
Bihar 		Road connecting Sikta in West Champaran District, Bihar in India  and Bhiswabazar in Nepal"

Note:- The Principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part-II Section 3, sub-section (ii) vide Notification No. 63/94-CUSTOMS (NT) dated the 21stNovember, 1994 published vide number S.O.830 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994 and last amended vide notification No.50/2015-Customs (NT), dated the 3rd June, 2015 published vide number S.O.1462 (E) dated the 3rd June, 2015.
