In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Additional or Joint Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Ahmedabad to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-

(i) the Additional or Joint Commissioner of Customs, Nhava Sheva-I, JNCH, Nhava Sheva; and
