Notification No. 23/88-Cus. (N.T.), dated. 12th April, 1988

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue and Insurance No. 132-Cus., dated 25th June, 1966, the Central Government hereby entrusts to the officers mentioned in column (1) of the Table below, the functions of the officers of Customs specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Table, within the territory specified in column (3) thereof :
