In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Assistant Commissioner of Central Excise or Deputy Commissioner of Central Excise, Ernakulum-II Division, to be Assistant Commissioner of Customs or Deputy Commissioner of Customs for Union Territory of Laccadive, Minicoy and Amindivi Islands.
