In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be, Jawaharlal Nehru Port to be the Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be, and the Assistant Commissioner of Customs or Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Port to be the Assistant Commissioner of Customs or Deputy Commissioner of Customs,for the purposes of all warehouses situated in Vashi in the warehousing station of Thana taluka, in the district of Thana, in the State of Maharashtra.
