Appointment of Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be, Additional Commissioners of Customs and Assistant Commissioners of Customs or Deputy Commissioner of Customs of the Directorate of Valuation as Commissioners of Customs, Additional Commissioners of Customs and Assistant Commissioners of Customs or Deputy Commissioner of Customs , respectively

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be, Additional Commissioners of Customs, Deputy Commissioners of Customs and Assistant Commissioners of Customs of the Directorate of Valuation to be the Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be, Additional Commissioners of Customs, Joint Commissioner of Customs and Assistant Commissioners of Customs or Deputy Commissioners of Customs, respectively and the jurisdiction of these officers shall extend to the whole of India.
