WHEREAS, the State Government is satisfied that it is expedient so to do in public interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Act no. 31 of 2018), the Governor is pleased to allow to appoint the 1st day of February, 2019, as the date on which the provisions of the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Act no. 31of 2018); except for the provisions mentioned in clause (b) of serial no. 8, serial no. 17, Serial no. 18 and clause (a) of Serial no. 20 shall, come into force.
