In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Odisha Act 7 of 2017), the State Government do hereby appoint Shri Bishnupada Sethi, IAS, Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & Goods and Services Tax, Odisha to be the Commissioner of State tax, Odisha for the purpose of the said Act with effect from the date he assumes charge as such and he shall exercise such powers and discharge such functions as are or may be conferred or imposed by or under the provisions of the said Act.
