In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below, which shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely :-

(i) for the words and brackets "Dabolim (Goa) and Visakhapatnam" the words and brackets "Dabolim (Goa), Visakhapatnam and Calicut" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words and brackets "Babarpur and Loni (District Ghaziabad)" the words and brackets "Babarpur, Loni (District Ghaziabad) and Melapakkam Village (Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District)" shall be substituted;
(i) for the words "Bhubaneswar, Chennai" the words "Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chennai" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words "Irungattukottai, SIPCOT Industrial Park, Kattrambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu" the words and bracket "Irungattukottai, SIPCOT Industrial Park, Kattrambakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu and Melapakkam Village (Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District)" shall be substituted;
(i) at S. No. 2, for the words "Bhubaneswar, Chennai", the words "Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chennai" shall be substituted;
(ii) at S. No. 3, for the word "Miraj" the words and brackets "Melapakkam Village (Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District), Miraj" shall be substituted;
(ii) at S. No. 3, for the word "Miraj" the words and brackets "Melapakkam Village (Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District), Miraj" shall be substituted.
