In exercise of the power conferred under sub-section (3) of section 5 of West Bengal Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (West Ben Act XXVIII of 2017) (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'), read with clause (8) of section 2 of the said Act and the rules made thereunder, and in partial modification of orders issued earlier in this behalf, the Senior Joint Commissioners appointed under section 3 of the Act and posted at Circles, Ranges, Central Section-Kolkata, Central Section-Asansol, Central Section-Siliguri, Bureau of Investigation-Unit 1, Bureau of Investigation-Unit 2, Bureau of Investigation-Unit 3 and Bureau of Investigation-Unit 4, are authorised to act as the Senior Joint Commissioner (Appeals) under the Act, within their respective jurisdictions.

This order is deemed to be effective with effect from the 15th November, 2017.
