S.O.317.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Karnataka Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 35 of 1976) the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints the Agricultural Income Tax Oficers and the Assistant Agricultural Income Tax Officers appointed under the Agricultural Income Tax Act, (Karnataka Act 22 of 1957) as the Profession Tax Officers and the Assistant Profession Tax Officers respectively to carry out the purposes of the said Act in respect of Agriculturists growing plantation crops and who are liable to pay Professions Tax under Entry No. 20-A of the Schedule to Karnataka Tax Profession, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1976, in their respective jurisdiction as assigned under the Karnataka Agricultural Income Tax Act.
