In exercise of the powers conferred by section 168 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (XLIII of 2017) read with sub-rule (5) of rule 61 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, the Government of Maharashtra, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification issued by the Commissioner of State Tax No. JC(HQ)-1/GST/2017/Noti/18/ADM-8, dated the 15th September 2017, published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, Extra-ordinary, Part II No. 84, dated the 18th September 2017, namely :-

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 5, in column (3), for the figures, letters and word " 20th January, 2018 ", the figures, letters and word "22nd January, 2018" shall be substituted.
