Under sub-section (2) of Section of 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Tax of Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1987 (Act No. 22 of 1987), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoints the Task Force Officers at the Headquarters and the Task Force Officers at the District Headquarters under the Vigilance and Enforcement Department not below the rank of an Assistant Commercial Tax Officer drawn from the Commercial Taxes Department, to exercise the power specified under Section 20 of the said Act anywhere in the State.
