In exercise of powers conferred in sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Odisha Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and in pursuance to Finance Department(Government of Odisha) Notification No 19493-FIN-CT1-TAX-022-2017 dt. 24-6-2017, I, Saswat Mishra, I.A.S., Commissioner of State Tax, Odisha do hereby specify that the officers appointed under Section 3 of the Odisha Goods and Service tax Act, 2017 as per the above mentioned Government Notification shall have jurisdiction over the same area as was assigned to them under sub-section (3) of Section 3 of Odisha Value Added Tax Act, 2004.

This notification shall come into force with effect from 25.06.2017.
