In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 86 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006 (Tamil Nadu Act 32 of 2006), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Second Schedule to the said Act.

2. The amendments hereby made shall come into force on the midnight of 4th March/5th March 2017.

AMENDMENTS.

In the said Act, in the Second Schedule,

(i) in column (4), against Serial No.6 in column (1), for the expression "27 per cent", the expression "34 per cent" shall be substituted;

(ii) in column (4), against Serial No.7 in column (1), for the"" expression "21.43 per cent", the expression "25 per cent" shall be substituted.
