In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 41 of Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005, the Governor of Bihar is pl eased to make the following amendments in Departmental Notification no. S.O. 50 dated 22nd June, 2005 namely-

1. The present entries "5 percentum" in column number (3) of serial number 2 of the said notification shall be substituted by the figure and word "8 percentum."

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its issue.
