WHEREAS the State Government is satisfied that it is expedient so to do in public interest;

Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers under clause (c) of section 7 of the Uttar Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2008 (UP. Act no. 5 of 2008), the Governor is pleased to direct that no tax shall be levied and paid under the said Act, on the turnover of sale of Sanitary Napkin and Maternity Napkin manufactured by Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Udyog, with effect from July 30,2016.
