In exercise of powers conferred by sections 4 and 5 of the Jammu and Kashmir General Sales Tax Act, 1962 and in supersession of notification SRO-168 dated 30th May, 2016 read with notification SRO-177 dated 1st June, 2016, the Government hereby direct that in notification SRO 117 of 2007 dated 30.03.2007, the following amendments shall be made, namely-

(I) In Schedule-A, the following entry shall be deleted:-

"5. Aviation Turbine fuel."

(II) After Schedule A-I, Schedule A-II shall be added namely:-

"Schedule A-II:

Goods Chargeable to Tax at the rate of 25%" with the following entry: -

1. Aviation Turbine fuel."

This notification shall come into force with effect from 01.07.2016.
