THE RAJASTHAN VALUE ADDED TAX ACT, 2003 Notifications

NOTIFICATION No. No.F.12(63)FD/Tax/2005-30 Dated: 28th April, 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 4 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so do, hereby makes the following further amendments in SCHEDULE-IV appended to the said Act, namely. -

AMENDMENTS

1. The existing entries in Column No. 1 to 3 at S.No. 47, shall be omitted.

2. For the existing entries in Column No. 2 of S.No. 68, the following shall be substituted, namely.-

" Industrial cables (High voltage cables including PVC cables for voltage exceeding 1000 volts, XLPE cables, jelly filled cables, optical fibre cables)."

3. The existing entries in Column No. 1 to 3 at S.No. 79, shall be omitted.

4. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 90, for the existing word "Niwars" the expression "Niwar excluding cotton niwar." shall be substituted.

5. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 97, for the existing entry "Paper, newsprint, paper board and waste thereof." the entry "Paper of all kinds including newsprints, all kinds of stationary goods, all types of exercise book, graph book, laboratory note book, paper board and waste thereof." shall be substituted.

6. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 105, for the existing expression "Printing ink excluding toner and cartridges." the expression "Printing ink excluding toner and cartridges but including aluminum plate, graphic art film, plaster film." shall be substituted.

7. After the existing S.No. 156, the following new entries shall be added in Column No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. -

"157	Ropes made of natural fibres.	4
158	Namda, felt, non-woven fabrics and its products.	4
159	Unbranded household plastic goods namely comb, jug, soapcase, mug, photo-frames, chakla, belan, patta, chhalani, lunch box, pencil box, bottles, trays, tokaras including baskets, mats, basins, tubs and drums provided that per item price does not exceed rupees two hundred.	4
160	Textile screen design.	4"

8. In Part-B of SCHEDULE IV, in Column No. 2 of S.No. 221, the existing entries shall be substituted by the following, namely. -

"221

Abrasive stone (Batti) and emery stone.

9. In Part-B of SCHEDULE IV, in Column No. 2 of S.No. 235, for the existing entries "Non ferrous metal sheet, circle" the entry "Non ferrous metal sheet (including foil), circle" shall be substituted.

10. In Part-B of SCHEDULE IV, after the existing entry S.No. 241, shall be added in Column No. 1, 2 and 3 respectively, namely. -

"242	Battery lead, lead ash and separator for storage.	4
243	Micro-cellular sheets, PVC sole, leather board, latex rubber for footwear.	4"
