In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 4 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No.4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in Schedule VI appended to the said Act, with effect from 01.04.2016, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In Schedule VI appended to the said Act, after the existing serial number 24 and entries thereto, the following new serial number 25 and entries thereto shall be added, namely:-

Semi-stitched garments, namely:-

(i) Semi-stitched Lehnga Sets, and

(ii) Semi-stitched Salwar suits, kurta/kurti

Explanation: "Semi-stitched" means garments having one or more part(s) that has been cut to shape and/or is partially stitched.
