NOTIFICATION No.F.12(63)FD/Tax/2005-19., Dated 19th April, 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so do, hereby makes the following further amendments in SCHEDULE IV appended to the said Act, namely.-

AMENDMENTS

1. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 7, for the existing expression "pans except", the expression "pans and cutlery but excluding" shall be substituted.

2. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 15, for the existing entry "Bearings", the entry "Bearing and its components." shall be substituted.

3. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 16, for the existing expression "pillow cover", the expression "pillow cover (excluding pillow cover up to Rs.25/- per item)" shall be substituted.

4. The existing entries in Column No. 1 to 3 at S.No. 46, shall be omitted.

5. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 56, for the existing entry "Gypsum", the entry "Gypsum in all its forms." shall be substituted.

6. In Column No. 2 of S.No. 131, after the existing expression "unbranded namkins, the expression "including dried potato chips" shall be added.

7. After the existing S.No. 153, the following new entries shall be added in Column No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively.-

"154	Unbranded bakery products including cookies but excluding cakes and pastries; confectionery excluding chocolates.	4
155	Hydraulic excavators (earth moving and mining machinery), mobile cranes and hydraulic dumpers.	4
156	Box, kothi, sandook, peti, milk cane, bhagona made from iron sheet; weight and measures, tawa, kadai, tai, sigri, chimta, imamdasta, musali, jhar and chalani.	4

8. In Part-B of SCHEDULE IV, in Column No. 2 of S.No. 164 and 216, the existing entries shall be substituted by the following, namely.-

"164	Compounded rubber, unvulcanised, in primary forms or in plates, sheets or strip, other than the forms and articles of unvulcanised rubber
216	Marble and granite block and laffer"

9. In Part-B of SCHEDULE IV, after the existing entry at S.No. 222, the following new entries shall be added, namely.-

"223	Transformer Tank and accessories thereof	4
224	Core Clamp, Clamping Ring and Aluminum Member	4
225	Insulating materials, that is to say, insulating varnish, insulating tape, polyester film, leatherized paper, empire and fibre glass cloth and empire and fibre glass sleeve

229	Electrical grade insulating paper/Kraft paper/press board	4
