In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 71 of the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (No.2 of 2005), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Rules, 2006 with effect from 1st March, 2016, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

For entries in column (4) of serial number 4 of Table in rule 55, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

"(i) Assistant Commercial Tax Officer - upto a turnover and/or aggregate of purchase price of Rs. One crore

(ii) Commercial Tax Officer - upto a turnover and/or aggregate of purchase price of Rs. Ten crore

(iii) Assistant Commissioner - in respect of every dealer."
