In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No.4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in public interest so to do, hereby, with effect from 01.01.2016, makes the following amendments in this department's notification number F. 12(15)FD/Tax/12-118 dated 26.03.2012, namely :-

In the said notification,-

(i) for the existing expression "such selling dealer obtains from the purchasing dealer a declaration in the form given below, and furnishes to the assessing authority:-", the expression " such purchasing dealer shall generate a declaration in Form VAT-72 electronically through the official website of the Commercial Taxes Department, in the manner as provided therein and furnish a duly signed copy of Form VAT-72 so generated to the selling dealer." shall be substituted; and

(ii) the existing Declaration appended to the said notification shall be deleted.
