In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 30 of the Telangana Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1987 (Act No.22 of 1987), the Government of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Rules, 1987, issued in G.O.Ms.No.556, Revenue (S) Department, dt:8.6.1987, and as subsequently amended from time to time, and adapted to the State of Telangana in G.O.Ms.No.170, Revenue (CT-II) Department, dt:18.9.2015:

AMENDMENT

1. In rule 4, for sub-rule (4), the following shall be substituted, namely,-

"(4) After considering the application and such additional information or evidence as may be furnished and after making such enquiry as he considers necessary, the assessing authority shall grant a certificate of enrolment in Form II-A within one working day of receipt of application in complete shape along with the documents prescribed."
