In exercise of the powers under sub-section(4) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2008 (U.P.Act no. 5 of 2008), the Governor is pleased to make with effect from December 09, 2015, the following amendment in Schedule-I and Schedule-II to the said Act:-

Amendment

(a) In the said Schedule-I, in the entry at serial number 49, the semicolon and the words ; Brushes which are used for painting and varnishing" .shall be inserted at the end.

(b) hi the said Schedule-II, in Part-A, for the entry at serial number 117, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

"117- Brushes other than tooth brush ; Brushes other than brushes which are used for painting and varnishing."
