MADHYA PRADESH VALUE ADDED TAX ACT, 2002 - NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 70-A of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendment in Schedule II of the said Act, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said Act, in Schedule II, in Part-III-A,-

(i) for serial number 7 and entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries relating thereto shall be substituted, namely :-

"7.

Cigars, cheroots, cigarillos of tobacco, bidies and other manufactured tobacco products (other than cigarettes) including gudaku and pan masala.

27";

(ii) after serial number 7 as so substituted, the following serial number and entries relating thereto shall be added, namely:-

"8.

cigarettes

13".

2. This amendment shall come into force from the date of publication.
