In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (8) of section 10 -A of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002), the State Government, hereby, exempts the purchases of paddy by a co-operative society for or on behalf of the agencies mentioned below from payment of tax under the said section;-

1. Madhya Pradesh State Civil supplies Corporation Limited

2. Madhya Pradesh State Co-operative Marketing Federation Limited

3. Madhya Pradesh Warehousing and Logistic Corporation

4. Food Corporation of India.

2. This notification shall come into force from the date on which paddy is notified under sub-section (1) of section 10A.
